JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview: As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance,
repair, and installation of swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, and related equipment. You will work independently or as part of a team
to ensure that our client’s equipment/pool/hot tub/sauna is safe, clean, and fully operational. The ideal candidate will have a strong
mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Although
prior experience is a bonus, we are willing and happy to train the right applicant who brings no experience.
Responsibilities:
● Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, and balancing chemicals in swimming pools and spas.
● Inspect pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems, to identify and troubleshoot issues.
● Repair or replace faulty equipment and components as needed, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
● Install new equipment and accessories, such as pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems, according to specifications.
● Test water quality using appropriate testing kits and adjust chemical levels as necessary to ensure proper balance.
● Provide recommendations to customers regarding maintenance schedules, upgrades, and repairs to optimize pool
performance and longevity.
● Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
● Communicate effectively with customers to explain service procedures, address concerns, and provide guidance on pool care
and maintenance.
● Adhere to company policies and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in pool maintenance or related field is a bonus.
● Experience as a pool service technician or similar role is not required but is beneficial.
● Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair common pool problems are a
bonus.
● Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and coworkers.
● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to transport equipment and travel to customer locations as needed.
● Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and perform manual labor in various weather
conditions.
