Paving Operator
Job Duties:
- Operate a variety of paving equipment including pavers, rollers, skid steers and loaders
- Work closely with other team members; communicate clearly, respectfully, and in a timely manner
- Inspect equipment before, during and after use to ensure they are working properly
- Load and unload/lay-down hot mix asphalt
- Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment and working in other capacities onsite
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards and perform a variety of other tasks as assigned
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment both in and around the machine.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and perform daily maintenance including greasing, cleaning, check fluid levels, and other required daily checks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Responsibilities:
- Able to work in all weather
- On time and reliable form of transportation
- Familiar with preventive maintenance of paving equipment
- Able to communicate needs for repairs to the appropriate parties
