Description

Milton Town School District is seeking a Spanish teacher who cultivates a love of studying World Languages and cultures with middle schoolers for this 2024-2025 school year only. The ideal candidate is passionate about the Spanish language and culture. They will provide instruction that assists students in learning Spanish, including speaking, writing, listening, reading, and vocabulary.

Candidates must be knowledgeable in instructional practices that reflect high expectations regarding content and also support student engagement.  The candidate must also create tiered instruction to support all learners, including scaffolds of support and differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, needs, interests, and readiness levels.

Position Requirements

  • Valid teaching license or be eligible to get a license in Vermont
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience preferred
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa
