Lund’s Early Childhood Program seeks a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team of educators in a hybrid role that blends culinary creativity with classroom support. This unique position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by bringing food preparation and early childhood care skills to the program. We’re looking for a teammate who is organized, flexible, dependable, and energized by a dual-purpose role that enriches children’s lives.

As the Food Services Lead, you’ll plan and prepare nutritious, budget-friendly meals that meet Child Adult Care Food Program standards while fostering a clean, organized, collaborative kitchen environment. In the Float Teacher role, you’ll provide vital classroom support, ensuring children’s safety, well-being, and developmental growth by stepping in for teachers during planning time, breaks, and absences.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate and support teachers in facilitating enriching cooking activities for children as requested.
  • Communicate regularly with childcare staff regarding food service delivery and needs.
